I have been a champion of PSI's work since I first came to know the organization in 2004 as a P&G executive. PSI was one of P&G's first NGO partners to distribute clean drinking water and sanitation products in Southeast Asia and Africa. PSI's social enterprise model, its market orientation and consumer-focused approach to development is unique and was a differentiator. Over PSI's 51-year history, PSI has a proven track record in improving the lives of women, girls and families in tackling some of the biggest global health issues.

My husband and I care deeply about supporting access to safe and affordable reproductive health and family planning, HIV/AIDs treatment, malaria and safe water in countries where we too have lived and worked. My most inspiring moments with PSI have been seeing programs in action in Myanmar, Cambodia and Madagascar. I have come to especially respect PSI's talented and committed people who deliver support to communities and work with governments to shape health care policies and programs, which motivated me to become a PSI board member in 2017 and now serve as board chair.

Supporting PSI can come in many forms—from resources to thought partnership and even making introductions and connections. My husband and I recently finalized changes in our estate planning after moving. We have made contributions to PSI from our donor advised fund (DAF) over the past five years and have now included a substantial bequest to PSI in our will. We are confident knowing that our annual contributions and bequest will help to fund PSI's consumer-powered health care innovations, data analytics, digital tools and future opportunities that await.
